The Minneapolis Job Support Workshop is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping individuals be more successful in their job search and career development. Our workshops are open to everyone. About our Workshops
Beginning in September 2019, our workshops will be held on the SECOND Thursday of each month at 6:30 PM. See the calendar page for information about each session.
We know searching for a job is difficult. Our workshops help make it easier by teaching or enhancing job search skills like resume writing, interviewing, networking and job search preparation. We also offer workshops about staying motivated, managing your finances during a job search and assisting with your career development path.
The job search is a tough place to be, but it is one almost all of us will face more than once in our careers. Come to our workshops to make the job search more effective and hopefully more enjoyable and profitable for you!
Networking is a key part of finding a job. The Minneapolis Job Support Workshop encourages networking at all of its workshops. You never know who may be able to help you land your next job!
About our Organization
The Minneapolis Job Support Workshop is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that collects donations from those who attend our workshops. Our moderators and workshop instructors are human resource professionals, career consultants and experienced executives who provide their services at little or no cost to our organization. All of our workshops are provided at no charge, but the Minneapolis Job Support Workshop accepts tax deductable donations. Donations help us pay for our space, our web site, and snacks.
Almost all of our meetings are held at Christ Presbyterian Church in Edina at South Hwy 100 and West 70th Street in Edina. We are not affiliated with the church, but have the good fortune to be able to rent meeting rooms at a low cost and in an easy to find location.
