Facilitated by Ben Crockett of Rihm Kenworth and MJSW Board Member
Age bias is real, despite the letter of the law prohibiting it. But the job seeker who feels older can take very definitive actions to reduce its impact.
This program presents concrete steps the job seeker can take in several aspects of the search process, including:
- what to include (and not include) in your resume and cover letter;
- the ins and outs of the interview process; and
- the impact the candidate's appearance has on the interviewer / hiring manager.
This evening's program will be presented by Ben Crockett, human resource director at Rihm Kenworth. Ben previously held HR leadership roles at Saputo, Inc., Hearth & Home Technologies, Cummins Power Generation and Coca-Cola Bottling Company. He has an MA in Human Resources Management & Services from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota.
Please join us for what will be a most informative evening.
There is no need to register in advance. The session is free, but a voluntary donation of $3.00 is suggested.
