Join us for an introduction and in-depth discussion of the resources available to those who are interested in training opportunities to hone their skills and help with career changes/progression.
Nola Speiser is the Workforce Services Director for Hennepin County where she oversees workforce development programs and public/private career pathway efforts. Prior to joining Hennepin County, she was with the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) where she administered the MN FastTRAC Adult Career Pathways program.
Debbie Goettel is a Hennepin County Commissioner who is no stranger to the world of work. She served as mayor of Richfield from 2005 to 2017, has a degree in civil engineering and graduate studies in environmental sustainability. She worked for both consulting firms and large companies and has been involved in several start-up businesses. She serves as the Co-Chair of the Minneapolis Job Support Workshop Board of Directors.
There is no need to register in advance. The session is free, but a voluntary donation of $3.00 is suggested.

LOCATION: Christ Presbyterian Church, Hwy. 100 & 70th Street, Edina, MN - most sessions are held in Room 306 unless it is unavailable (programs are non-denominational and open to anyone who wants to attend).
